University of Zimbabwe Undergraduate Admissions Requirement 2020/2021
Undergraduate application overview
Every year in January the University invites applications for the degree programmes on offer from prospective students. The advertisement is flighted in the national press and on the University website.
University of Zimbabwe programmes have varied selection criteria depending on the nature of the programme. To apply an applicant must meet the minimum entry requirements; however acceptance depends on competition from the other applicants.
Degree and Entrance Requirements
For admission to programmes of study at the UZ for any first degree, a student must have attained qualifications in the ZIMSEC / CAMBRIDGE examinations or equivalent as specified under special requirements.
All applicants MUST have passed at least five subjects, including English language at ‘O’ level and at least two ‘A’ Level passes.
(N.B: at ‘O’ level only grades A, B and C are accepted)

Applicants are also required to make an on- line application at UZ campus on www.emhare.uz.ac.zw. Click application link, complete and submit the application. Applicants can go to http://www.emhare.uz.ac.zw/applicantsdetails/download for instructions on how to complete the online application form. Successful applicants will be notified by through the uz website, facebook, through the press, sms and the addresses provided. Successful applicants will be expected to register as soon as possible.
