The Accra College of Education prospectus is a document distributed to prospective students in order to entice them to apply for admission. It typically includes information about the institution and available courses, as well as advice on how to apply and the advantages of accepting a place. Numerous universities publish separate prospectuses for each course or group of courses they offer.

Most universities offer both online and paper versions of their prospectus, which is divided into two sections: undergraduate and postgraduate. An application form can be sent upon request.
The prospectus typically contains information about the individual courses, the faculty (professors), notable alumni, the campus, special facilities (such as performance halls or acting stages for music schools or drama schools), how to contact the university, and how to get to the university. It is a legally binding document that must be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and provides information about the school to the general public.
